In the attention economy, we’ve all learned the currencies being traded are our awareness and focus.
But in this month’s Collide, we explore how our attention can be drawn in ways beyond the transactional.
Like how, when we’re driving, we need focus and feedback from all our senses, not just the visual information served to us on touchscreens.
Then, when we stop, how we can be overwhelmed by the noise and the clutter of a busy service station. And so, when we take a rest, we don’t get a rest.
And sometimes, how when certain individuals draw our attention, we as a culture can’t break our gaze.
Thank-you for your attention.
